"When creating this design for Tailwind Nutrition NZ, I wanted to incorporate various elements from our own incredible backyard - Aotearoa.

The Tailwind vortex visually sweeps and moves, transitioning to our native Koru at the centre. The Koru represents eternal movement, connection, strength and growth, and mostly found in nature, where we connect as a community. The Tailwind vortex represents perpetual movement (like a Tailwind at your back) keeping you strong, steady and moving forward.

From our flowing awa (rivers), majestic maunga (mountains) to our wild hau - (tail)wind, especially here in Wellington, we can reflect and take time to recognise and respect the ancestors of this great land while getting to do what we love."

Prior to Tailwind, on long runs or on hot days I'd suffer cramp in my calves and quads, and have to alleviate the symptoms of cramp in place of prevention. Once I switched to Tailwind I've found this is a thing of the past, with a case-in-point of completing my first 100 mile race during a heatwave, and although my feet hurt at the end, the magical properties of Tailwind meant that cramp never made an appearance - Go Tailwind!
